The Field Mill Voltmeter - Schematics
The schematic below is of my prototype fieldmill and worked well. The only disadvantage with this circuit is that it is unipolar i.e. it cannot give any indication of the polarity of the incident E field.
The second schematic below is of my MK2 fieldmill and also worked well. This unit has additional electronics which form a synchronous rectifier and can thus cope with either polarity of E field via a selector switch S2.
